The Yellow Rose Fiber Fiesta

This past Saturday we went to Yellow Rose! By we, I mean some ladies from my knitting and spinning groups. Jen and Julia carpooled with me, but we saw Tracy, Sherry, Dena, Another Sherry, Misty, Ana and may others at the event. It was a fun filled fiber day!

Julia and I posing with the sign.
The event is in its fourth year, and still a little on the smallish side, but each booth was densely packed, and there were lots of producers with full raw local fleeces, which is unique to this festival compared to Kid and Ewe or DFW locally. After the festival we went to a GREAT local Mexican restaurant, and for 10 bucks each had meals that could have fed four (in fact, mine did, I brought it home and hubby and I ate it for dinner, and then I ate it again Sunday for lunch)! So without further ado, here are the pictures!
Sighting in the parking lot! Julia has one of these on her SUV, but hers is a color change from yellow on the outside to red in the center.
